The goal of ConnectedTurtle is to bridge the digital divide for elderly individuals.

The project is divided into three parts. Firstly, there is a small turtle that is connected to an Android box via a network connection. The Android box, in turn, is connected to both the television and the internet. Lastly, there is a smartphone application that enables sending messages to the elderly person or persons. When the turtle blinks, the elderly person simply needs to press on its shell, and the message will be displayed on the television.
